Bathtime Fun!

Because we have not purchased a new camera yet, the only working device at my disposal is my iPhone camera. It takes great stills, but with a busy, moving baby leaves a little to be desired!! However, I had to post about how much fun Preston and I have had these last days at home. He is really getting good at scooting backward, and I can see a trip to Lowe's for childproofing items in my near future!! Also, one of his upper front teeth has poked through and the other is right behind. He LOVES to be wherever mommy and daddy are--he sits on the floor wherever we happen to be and just watches and smiles--REALLY CUTE! And lastly, he really enjoys jogging with mommy as she pushes the jog stroller. (Let me tell you that is a WORKOUT!!) Our love to one and all, Jeff, Shelley, and Preston!

Breakfast at Tiffany's

These pictures really do not do justice to Kelsey Phillips' beautiful home and wonderful job she did decorating for Leslie Temple's "Breakfast at Tiffany's" bridal shower! The food and company were great and I was so excited to be a part. Again, congratulations Leslie and hope to see everyone again soon :)

First School Picture

When I heard that Temple was taking school pictures, of course, I made sure Preston was presentable for his shots. But had I known that Sherry Owens was taking professional pictures--I certainly would have done better on his wardrobe! Oh well! She does a great job, doesn't she--and get ready for his Easter bunny shots because they are even cuter....

Goodbye, Canon EX Slim

We had a wonderful family day to celebrate Easter! Nana, Pops, and Aunt Kendal drove up from Winnfield to join us and Resa at Trinity for worship. Then, we all headed out to Squire Creek for a great lunch. We were really concerned about how Preston would behave but he did REALLY well. The guys had been planning on playing golf, but since it was such a nasty day we all stayed in to watch the Masters. The only bad thing that happened today was that I dropped my camera and shattered the lens. The picture of me and Preston was taken PRE-drop, and the family pic was taken POST!! Sorry guys that we did not get a better shot! Oh well, the Canon EX Slim has been great--I sure will miss it :)

Easter Basket Fun

Just a quick post to document how much fun Preston had with his Easter basket from his MDO teachers Ms. Edna and Ms. Rahel. He LOVES to watch the eggs roll away and this may be my way to get him crawling yet.....More later :)

Tuesday in Augusta

Jeff and I had a most wonderful time yesterday at the MASTERS! We took a little trip over to Augusta with our good friends, Katie and Cullen Clark. We spent some time in Atlanta before heading over to the course, and got back this afternoon. We were just a bit disappointed me missed seeing Tiger, as it was the coldest Masters day on record according to the Atlanta newspaper, because he just went to the practice tee for a short bit and we were on 16 most of the day. However, we did get to see the shot of a LIFETIME by Vijay Singh!! He was just clowning around and skipped the ball over the water on the 16th hole to score a hole-in-one!! And, of course, I had to post a pic of my fave Phil Mickelson who I did get to see a BUNCH. He is thinner in person, by the way--the TV must really add 10 lbs!! I am going to pick up my baby man in the morning and just about can't wait. He has had a rough go of his little viral infection but Nana has taken such good care of him. We are looking forward to Easter weekend with family and hope you all have a good one as well :)

Who you callin' sick??

Well, today has been a whirlwind day as Preston has had his first "sickness." Pictured at right is the crazy mess he made with the paper in the office-again, I apologize for the quality, but you get the idea. He has been in a grand mood, though, and thankfully it is NOTHING serious! His RSV test came back negative, and his chest X-ray and ears were clear. We just have to do albuterol breathing treatments four times daily. We are just praying that Preston stays well during our trip, as we would hate to saddle Nana and Pop with that burden. However, as far as Preston is concerned--bring on the TOYS!
