Ruston got a HUGE summer storm yesterday! I hate to say that our house was probably the hardest hit in our neighborhood...we had 4 huge trees down. This tree pictured above BARELY missed my parents car in our driveway. We were having a birthday party for Jeff and Kendal--my grandparents had even come over for the day-when stong winds and rain came out of nowhere. It hailed for almost 10 minutes and we even lost power until 3 am! Needless to say, having to chainsaw the tree from around my parents car made for a memorable party :) We are SO VERY thankful that none of the trees did any damage really, just a lot of work to do. Still no Preston Luke-I am actually very grateful he did not come last night......
