Easter 2008

Jeff and I were so glad to host our family Easter celebration! Mom, Dad, and Kendal joined us for church and holiday lunch. In the afternoon, the boys played golf while Mom and Kendal helped me finalize ideas for Preston's nursery. We missed all of our family in other places and hope you had a Happy Easter.

Perinatologist visit

It's official now-we're having a boy! Mom and I went to the perinatologist at St. Francis this morning and it was such an amazing experience. Preston Luke is perfectly healthy, with long bones, a strong heart, and normal spine insertion. We even counted fingers and toes :) Now that we have this wonderful reassurance, because God had already put our hearts at peace, Jeff and I can really get excited about welcoming this little miracle into the world.

BOY?????????? Dr. Pennebaker told us not to go buy closet full of blue just yet, but Jeff, my Mom, she, and I saw SOMETHING in between the two little legs!! The big news it that there is no fluid anywhere, the heart has four chambers, and the brain is developing. The OB even said she saw a thalmus which just is so amazing to me. She also did encourage us to go ahead and see the perinatologist next week--so we will know FOR SURE then after a Level II ultrasound. Another note is that we could not get over how ACTIVE the baby is--never sat still the whole time. Sounds like a little boy to me......wow, do I have some changes ahead! Again, many thanks for all of your prayers. Jeff and I both thank God for this wonderful news!!

Micheal Buble Concert

Mom, Kendal, and I had a great time the last weekend of February! We had a yummy dinner at the Wine Country Bistro before heading to the concert. The next day, we headed to Canton, TX for some antique shopping. We should do this more often......
